Shooters and hunters who use quality optics have something big to set their sights on in 1998 ... the new Redfield TX-27 scope. The Redfield TX-27 combines the best optics technology available today into one scope series.

To begin with, the TX-27 features a 27 mm diameter one-piece tube that is 29% stronger than a one inch tube, and 26% lighter than a comparable 30 mm tube. It includes all the advantages of a 30 mm tube, but with less weight and bulk.

The lenses in Redfield's TX-27 are made from the finest glass available. They are fully multi-coated with Redfield's special Infinicoat IV, a four layer multi-coating that provides maximum light transmission and clarity.

The Redfield TX-27 features another new Redfield feature, Quick Zero™ low profile windage and elevation knobs which are finger-adjustable in 1/4 minute clicks (1/8 minute clicks on select models).

Each TX-27 has an easy-adjust eyepiece with focus ring and gives a remarkable 3 ½ inches of eye relief. It also allows fast and easy focus adjustment. Parallax adjustment is at the objective lens (on select models) or on the turret (on select models). Turret parallax adjustment allows shooters to adjust parallax from a shooting position and also reduces the bulk of the objective bell.

Each TX-27 has another new Redfield technology, a new Duradize™ hard-coat anodized finish which is scratch resistant, durable, and gives the TX-27 a deep, black satin finish.

Other TX-27 features include special objective lens mounts to reduce the bulk of the objective bell while retaining full optical performance. This also allows the scope to be mounted closer to the receiver.

Each TX-27 comes with Redfield 27 mm rotary dovetail steel rings with torx screws, plus Redfield also provides inserts with each scope to mount a TX-27 in any set of 30 mm rings.
